Mason County Fiscal Court Special Session December 18, 2009 11:00 a.m.
The meeting was called to Order by Judge/Executive James L. “Buddy” Gallenstein. Present were Commissioner Donald Tumey (District 3), Commissioner F. J. “Bear” Finn (District 2), County Treasurer Kim Muse, and Assistant County Attorney, Jackie Sue Wright. Media from The Ledger Independent was also in attendance.

Motion by Commissioner Finn and seconded by Commissioner Tumey to pay claims as presented.
Motion by Commissioner Tumey and seconded by Commissioner Finn to surplus the 1990 Ford Ranger (VIN #1FTCR10A5LUB95995) which was wrecked on November 10, 2009.
Motion by Commissioner Finn and seconded by Commissioner Tumey to authorize Judge/Executive Gallenstein to sign the Amendment to the Legal Agreement between the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board and Mason County Fiscal Court for an additional $1,485 in funds for the Deceased Farm Animal Disposal Assistance Program. The original agreement allowed for $5,915.00.
Motion by Commissioner Finn and seconded by Commissioner Tumey to reappoint Mr. Ronald Ryan to a four year term on the Mason County Ethics Board. This term will expire January, 2014.
There being no further business, motion was made by Commissioner Finn and seconded by Commissioner Tumey to adjourn the December 18, 2009 special meeting of the Mason County Fiscal Court.
